Rehearsals

How do rehearsals work?

Each week we gather for a warm up, developing our breathing and posture, our understanding of vocal technique, and our listening skills. Then we work on sections of the repertoire, going as fast or slow as the choir needs. There is no pressure and help is given as much as is needed. Rehearsal aids (online or on CDs) are provided whenever possible. Some singers also meet in each others’ houses on occasion for a little extra rehearsal.

Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings from 7pm – 9pm at the Richmond and Hillcroft Adult Community College, Parkshot, Richmond, TW9 2RE (Location Map) – though many of our members often continue the evening’s merriment in a nearby hostelry, too!
